30+ years in Banking, Finance, and the Mortgage Industry...
Numbers have always been a part of my life. Beginning with a career in executive management with two of the world's largest Armored Car companies after college was where I cut my teeth on banking, budgets, contracts, and client service. Later, owning my own restaurants, a major events catering company, and even a few bars taught me everything they don't teach you in college about dealing with pressures and people. Entering the residential mortgage space in the late 1990's and building a very successful multi-state licensed mortgage brokerage for the better part of 12 years was next.
Reaching the pinnacle of success with over 150 Full-time Loan Officers and operating in 30 states providing thousands of closed loans a year to good people all over the United States was the reward for hard work, having integrity and perseverance, and treating clients the way they deserved to be treated.
Not enough regulations in the industry, followed by too many regulations in the industry and a mysterious (some would say fraudulent) investment instrument on Wall Street called the Mortgage Backed Security (MBS) brought the entire industry to a crashing halt. We lasted longer than most, but ultimately departed that space in October of 2011.
Switching gears to providing years and years of experience and access to an endless capital source to Real Estate Investor clients in 2015 was the nexus for my re-entry into the real estate finance world that I just have a passion for being a part of. Helping clients of all types - big operations, small operations, new investors, seasoned investors, fix/flip or buy/hold all - across the US piece together a strategy for fixing and flipping real estate for profitable gains, or, buying and building an investment real estate portfolio for long-term passive income and asset appreciation purposes is what I love to do.
